About Software Dynamix

Back in 1987, Software Dynamix was born. It was a long-time dream to operate a business to escape the clutches of corporate America and join the ranks of business owners. We started out doing custom programming on the IBM 34/36 systems and mainframe systems. There were also some old Sperry Univac 90/30 systems and BC/7's. Later on there were AS/400's, Unisys 2200's and Unix servers. They all needed software and scripts. Indeed, there were many clients to choose from and they all wanted excellent service for a reasonable price.

One thing was discovered quite by accident. We wrote some software for a company named Scott Collins and Associates. We spent several years creating and customizing order entry and accounts receivable software for Scott. The software was crafted very well but as luck would have it a bug or two was found. Sometimes, it was just a misunderstanding between what Scott, the owner, wanted and what we thought he wanted. We always felt it was our responsibility to give the customer what they wanted so we consequently fixed the bugs -- for free. And, in the case of the misunderstandings--we fixed those programs for free, as well. The end result was the customer was very happy with the end-state and the project cost. Sure, we could have charged for the errors, but what happened was very cool, indeed. Scott recommended our company to dozens of other companies. Scott used our services for years. We made long lasting relationships that stand to this day. Moreover, we made 20 times the money in the long-run than we would have gotten by charging for every little change and bug-fix.

The lesson learned was that exquisite customer service and deep technical skills have made Software Dynamix fairly successful. We learned when a program we developed fails, we fix it for free. Our clients claim this is the biggest reason they use our services. We stand behind our work.

How do we do this? We have a passion for web-site design and a dedication to software engineering.

No Fluff. No Nonsense. Just Guaranteed Software.
